Morfothion Uses

Morfothion (CAS NO.144-41-2) has a strong absorption, high efficiency, low toxicity and other characteristics. It is mainly used for prevention and control aphid, cabbage aphid, cotton red spider, thrips and other pests of cotton.

Morfothion Production

With chloroacetyl morpholine and O, O-dimethyl dithiophosphate sodium derived from the direct condensation. Process conditions: charge ratio of the O, O-dimethyl dithiophosphate sodium: chlorine acetyl morpholine = 1.05-1.10 (molar ratio). Adding O, O-dimethyl-2 sodium to reaction bottles, ice bath cooling, when the material temperature dropped to below -8 °C, combined with morpholine (30% or more), keeping the temperature below -5 °C. Drops of chlorine chloride until the pH value is close to 7.0, immediately dropping liquid caustic soda. Chloroacetyl chloride drops exhausted at -8 °C stirring reaction 1h. Then add benzene, at 50-60 °C stirring reaction 1h, cooling, put it aside, separate the benzene layer, vacuum distillation derived mao fruit. Preparation of 25% of the emulsion or powder.
