Moderately toxic by subcutaneous route. Experimental teratogenic and reproductive effects. Questionable carcinogen with experimental carcinogenic, neoplastigenic, and tumorigenic data. Mutation data reported. When N-MethyL-p-(phenylazo)aniline (CAS NO.621-90-9) is heated to decomposition ,it emits toxic fumes of NOx.
