Propylene glycol alginate Specification

Propyleneglycol alginate (CAS NO.9005-37-2) also can be called Alginic acid, ester with 1,2-propanediol  ; E405 ; 1,2-Propanediol alginate . It is an ester of alginic acid, which is derived from kelp. Some of the carboxyl groups are esterified with propylene glycol, some are neutralized with an appropriate alkali, and some remain free.On the pH value of 3 ~ 4 of the acidic solution, it can form gel, and does not produce precipitation. Salt analysis is strong, and even in the concentrated electrolyte solution,it will be not salting.
