Spearmint oil Specification

The Spearmint oil, with the CAS registry number 8008-79-5, is also known as Curled mint oil. Its systematic name is called Oils, spearmint. This chemical's classification codes are Mutation Data; Natural Product; Skin / Eye Irritant; TSCA UVCB. Spearmint oil is a kind colorless to yellowish or yellow-green decant oil and has a sweet taste. 

Preparation: this chemical can be prepared by steam distillation of fresh stem, leaf, etc in mentha spicata. The yield is about 0.3% ~ 0.7%. Its basically originates are in the United States, Germany and Britain. Besides, China's jiangsu, zhejiang also has large production.

Uses of Spearmint oil: GB 2760-96 rules for the edible flavoring allowed to use. It is mainly used for glue mu sugar, hard candy, pastry and preparation of mentha spicata essence etc. What's more, it can also be used in toothpaste, oral supplies, such as chewing gum flavor, also is flooding wind agent raw materials.
