It also can be called Trichloromelamine ; N2,N4,N6-Trichloro-2,4,6-triamino-s-triazine ;and 1,3,5-Triazine-2,4,6-triamine, N~2~,N~4~,N~6~-trichloro- . It is unstable and sensitive to heat and friction and is an oxidizer. It can ignite spontaneously in contact with reactive organic materials and is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. Also, it is incompatible with strong reducing agents.
