This reaction will need reagents air, water, [RuCl2(p-cymene)]2 and solvent acetonitrile. The reaction time is 10 minutes at reaction temperature of 25 °C. The yield is about 95%.

Silanol,1,1,1-triethyl- can be prepared by triethylsilane

Uses of Silanol,1,1,1-triethyl-: it can react with cyclopropylideneoctane to get triethyl-(2-octyl-allyloxy)-silane. This reaction will need reagent P(o-tolyl)3, catalyst Pd(PPh3)4 and solvent tetrahydrofuran. The reaction time is 3 days at reaction temperature of 100 °C. The yield is about 49%.
