Vat Green 9 Uses

 C.I. Vat Green 9 (CAS NO.6369-65-9) is mainly used for dyeing cotton fibers. It is also used for dyeing viscose fibers, silk, wool, cotton blended fabric PVA and Victoria.

Vat Green 9 Production

 Purple anthrone (CI59800) as raw materials using nitric (98%) to nitrification in the chloroacetic acid (or acetic acid), can get  the product. After filtration, washing, crushing, drying was finished.

Vat Green 9 Specification

 C.I. Vat Green 9 (CAS NO.6369-65-9) is black powder. It is insoluble in water, ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone, chloroform, pyridine, toluene, soluble in chlorophenol, tetralin, xylene. In concentrated sulfuric acid was dark purple, diluted produce dark purple precipitate. In alkaline hydrosulfite solution was purple, in acidic solution is dark red.
