Vinyltrimethoxysilane can be used as cross-linking agent, coupling agent and glass fiber treatment agent. And it is used for polyethylene crosslinking manufacturing of wire, cable insulation and sheath materials. It is an important crosslinking agent crosslinking polyethylene. Compared with common peroxide crosslinking and radiation crosslinking, the crosslinking process has advantages of simple equipment, low investment, easy control, wide range of polyethylene density for application, suitable for production of the special fan-shaped line core, and high extrusion speed. Silane crosslinking polyethylene has excellent electrical properties, good heat resistance and stress cracking resistance, so this product is widely used for manufacturing of wire, insulation and protective materials.
