Methods of production

1. Sodium formate method Carbon monoxide and sodium hydroxide solution react at 160-200℃ and 2MPa pressure to produce sodium formate, and then the finished product is obtained by a'a'b'b hydrolysis and distillation. 2. Carbonyl synthesis of methanol (also known as methyl formate method) Methanol reacts with carbon monoxide in the presence of sodium methoxide to form methyl formate, which is then hydrolyzed to formic acid and methanol. The methanol can be circulated into the methyl formate reactor, and then the formic acid can be rectified to obtain Chemicalbook with different specifications. 3. Formamide process Carbon monoxide reacts with ammonia in methanol solution to form formamide, which is then hydrolyzed to formic acid in the presence of a'a'b'b, and ammonium sulfate is produced by by-product. Raw material consumption quota: methanol 31kg/t, carbon monoxide 702kg/t, ammonia 314kg/t, a'a'b'b 1010kg/t.
