It is used as solvent of lacquer, wax and raw material of Camphene, terpineol, borneol, synthetic camphor, synthetic resin, etc. .

It is mainly used to prepare spices, nutmeg substitutes and citrus flavor.

It is used as raw material for synthetic resin, Linalool, etc. .

It is also used as solvent and important organic synthetic raw material for synthetic camphor.

It can be used to synthesize a series of aromatic Chemicalbook materials, camphor, borneol, etc. .

Pinene can be oxidized by ozone to obtain Keto acid, and further oxidation to obtain pinic acid, which can be used to produce plant growth hormone, synthetic lubricant, plasticizer, etc.
