1. Product Description

TIONES^® 7042W is a hydrophobic polymer powder based on copolymer of acrylate. It’s dispersible in water and it’s free of any solvents.

3. Properties

TIONES^® 7042W is mainly used for cement-based mortar to provide the following benefits:

l  excellent water resistance

l  low water absorption, high anti-permeability

l  improves adhesion strength

l  improves flexural strength

l  provides excellent weatherability and durability

l  improves anti-efflorescence

 

 

4. Application

TIONES^® 7042W is mainly used for cement or gypsum based dry mix mortar as follows:

l  waterproofing mortar

l  sealing slurry

l  repair mortar

l  decorative mortar

l  One component stone coating

l  Powder paint

 

 

5.  Dosage and Handling

TIONES^® 7042W is added to other powdery components to get the mixed homogenous formulation. The dosage should be more than 2% of the total dry mixture by weight. The final required dosage should be evaluated in suitable tests prior to the actual application.

 

 

6.  Storage

TIONES^® 7042W should be stored in a cool, dry place. To prevent moisture penetration, the opened bags should be sealed again as soon as possible. On account of thermoplasticity of the redispersible polymer powder, bags should not be stacked higher than one pallet.

TIONES^® 7042W storage time should not exceed 6 months from date of delivery.
