   1,2,3-Trichloropropane (96-18-4) is used to produce 1,2,3-allyl chloride and also a good solvent. Also for pesticides chlormequat and oats enemy raw materials.

1,2,3-TRICHLOROPROPANE Production

 1,2,3-Trichloropropane is sensitive to prolonged exposure to light. Sensitive to heat. May react with active metals, strong caustics and oxidizing agents. Attacks some plastics, rubber and some coatings.High-temperature chlorination of propylene was allyl chloride by washing, separation, and then by low-temperature chlorination, fractionation, that was finished.
