Uses of 1,3-Dioxolane,4-methyl-: it can be used to produce 2-methoxy-1-(triethylsiloxy)propane at the temperature of 80 - 100 °C. It will need catalyst colloidal nickel with the reaction time of 1 hour. The yield is about 94%.
