Uses of 1-Fluoropyridinium triflate: it can be used to produce N-(3-fluoro-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-2-furanyl)pyridinium triflate by heating. It will need reagent pyridine and solvent CH2Cl2 with the reaction time of 8 hours. The yield is about 73%.
