Uses of Methyl-tripropoxysilane: It can react with 3-methyl-butane-1,3-diol to produce 2,4,4-trimethyl-2-propoxy-1,3-dioxa-2-silacyclohexane. This reaction will need reagent HCl, and temperature of 98°C, and the yield is about 65%.
