1.Pass dry Hydrogen chloride in the mixture of  Benzene, Acetaldehyde and Methanol, condensation ,obtaining the Phenylacetaldehyde dimethyl acetal (CAS NO.101-48-4).
2. Acetaldehyde and Benzene ,Methanol containing Hydrogen chloride (1% ~ 2%) and Ammonium chloride, mixing, heating to 40 ~ 50°C,set at room temperature for two days, adding water, Sodium chloride and Ether, separate oil layer , and then water washing and fractionation, derived Phenylacetaldehyde dimethyl acetal (CAS NO.101-48-4)
