Amoxycillin trihydrate is used for sinus infections, pneumonia, otitis media, skin, urinary tract infections. This is a drug of choice for antibiotic premedication for patients at risk for bacterial endocarditis unless there is an allergy to PENICILLIN-related antibiotics.
