Preparation: this chemical can be prepared by chloro-trimethyl-silane. This reaction will need reagent butyl lithium and PH3.

Uses of Phosphine,tris(trimethylsilyl)-: it can be used to produce Tetrafurfurylphosphoniumbromid at ambient temperature. This reaction will need solvent hexane and diethyl ether. The yield is about 90%.
